WTA Led Work Parties on the Cape Horn Trail

There are several opportunities on Thursday, March 9 and Friday, March 10  to help Cape Horn Conservancy in collaboration with the Washington Trails Association (WTA) to maintain the Cape Horn Trail .
These work parties will focus on improving drainage, and other potential maintenance as needed using a variety of handheld digging tools.  While overlooking the mighty Columbia River Gorge, we will be diverting water off the trail and improving the walking surface on several switchbacks.
Meeting spot will be the Upper Cape Horn Trailhead (at the end of Strunk Road) where we'll hike to the project site, up to 1 mile and 300 ft of elevation change.
Meeting time will be 8:30 am for safety talk; returning to our vehicles at 3:30 pm.
Interested Cape Horn volunteers can sign up for these work parties by clicking on the links below; there is a separate link for each day.
